Today is October 12th. This Kayla's parents. Kayla passed away last week October 2nd at 2:07 Pm.She went peacfully knowing that it was her time. She was pain free when she died and actually acted very happy and carefree. I would like to thank everyone for reading her blog and sending your prayers it helped and still does. I know that blogging to everyone made her last bit of life on this earth better. Thank you for raising awarness and keep doing that not just for Kayla but for everyone out there who has a disease.. Thank you again

Today August 27th.. I havent blogged in a while because ive been been so busy. Im getting worse everyday. Ive had to go to the hospital twice already this month! I can tell i dont have that much longer, and thats okay. I think im almost ready i just have to finish my bucketlist so this week im going to Hawaii with my family as one of my last things on my list!! :)

This is one of the pictures i took! it was sooo amazing there! it made me feel more at peace knowing that im done with my bucketlist! i know i still have two things left... To meet a family member ive never met before and to survive my disease. My mom told me that i will meet my grandma who died before i was born in heaven. Which makes me feel really good, and in a way number 10 is marked off my list. I survived my disease in a special way, i know its just my time to go and im ready.

Today  is June 20th, and i am going to a convention this weekend to raise awarness about Lukemia. I am speaking to people about my experience living with Lukemia and how i handle it! im kinda nervous but excited too!

Heres a picture of some of the people at the convention i spoke at! i met a few people that are in the same situation as i am and worse. It felt really good to talk to them about what they are going through and to know that they feel the same things and im not alone.

I also met someone famous at the convention!
It was Ellen!! how amazing! she was there to raise awarness as well! So i marked off a total of 3 things off my list today!! :)

Today is May 20th and this weekend i get to cross off number 3 and 4 of my list! Me and my family are traveling to the Grand Canyon, and then while were there im learning how to fly and airplane!

Today is May 6th, and i am getting a tattoo!! Number 1 on my bucket list!

Hi, my name is Kayla and i have Leukemia.
Im 16 years old and only have 13 months to live. I went to the doctor April 20th, 2012 and they told me that i have high risk leukemia. I am blogging about this because i want people to be aware of the risks and rising population of people who have leukemia. There is treatment for Leukemia, but it would just prolong the process. I have not taken on the treatments, because i want to live the rest of my life outside of a hospital. Here is my bucketlist:
1. Get a tatto
2. Get my license
3. Travel to the Grand Canyonn
4. Drive an airplane
5. Raise awarness about Leukemia
6. Meet other people my age with Leukemia
7. Meet someone famous
8. Go to Hawaii
